The Feed Port can be turn on/off by the handle on the side.
Working Principle
Rapid even splitting of samples is accomplished by pouring a sample into the hopper from which it is divided into two equal portions by a series chutes discharge alternatively in opposite directions. With every operation the feed sample is divided in two representative subsamples.The operation can be repeated as many times as necessary, until the required dividing quantity has been obtained.
